R/C Villiage Theatre

Originally a single screen, 900-seat theatre that opened in 1966 with a giant screen & nursery service, as well as accommodations from private screenings and parties. It was expanded to three screens in 1985, accommodating appproximately 200 in each of the rear venues and 320 in the front portion of the theatre. Admission price was $2.50 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday through Thursday all seats were a dollar. Closed in 1997, and has since been demolished.

Closed circa 1998, it became a video store. The location should be Reisterstown MD, not Owings Mills.

Yes, this theatre is in Reisterstown. I lived accross the street in 1993-1994. It was in a Shopping Center with a Mars, Woolworth’s and an Ames Dept. Store. I posted a Fall 1994 photo.
