This is an exterior photo.
Another interior photo can be seen here.
The building was handed over to Falkirk Council by the contractors on Feb 14th 2008. A gallery of photographs from that day showing the almost finished interior can be found on the following page, as well as a gallery from just prior to the works starting:

It is anticipated that the building will reopen as a cinema later in 2008 – a rare conservation success story in the cinema world!
Just to verify that information, here is a story from the BBC News.
I can only get this cached link to work. According to that link, the Hippodrome is being restored to be used as a cinema. Its supposed to open in the fall of 2008.
The Hippodrome

The Hippodrome is Scotland’s oldest surviving purpose built cinema, designed by local architect Matthew Steele in 1911 in response to a commission from film-maker Louis Dickson, who wanted somewhere to show his films. The building’s most notable feature is the large circular auditorium. A number of modifications have been made to the Hippodrome over the years, including the addition of a ticket office set in the corner angle with a small dome. The A-listed building is currently being restored, and will reopen as a cinema in Autumn 2008. Its participation in Doors Open Days 2007 presents a unique opprtunity to see restoration work in progress.
