Here is a fresh link to the rendering of the Mancuso Theatre in Boxoffice of January 5, 1946.
Its been a while since I’ve been in this theatre,but I don’t think it had a balcony.
If the church that is now using the former Mancuso Theatre still holds 1650 seats, they have room for 1650! And if the theatre was twinned, I suppose the balcony area was probably reopened!

The website above shows the theatre when it was being used as a twin.
In 1955 the Mancuso Theater had 1,650 seats.

I saw Fatal Attraction in this theatre. At that time it was a twin cinema and was being operated by the Dipsons. The theatre was in excellent condition.
This article mentions that the Mancuso Theater was built after World War II.
“The newest church in Batavia — City Church on East Main Street — is housed in the former Mancuso Theater. A large, elegant building, the theater was built after World War II in a pre-18-plex time when everyone sat and saw the same movie. (Or movies, if it was Saturday afternoon and double-feature time.)”
