This reopened as the Madison Township Cinema I & II on June 23rd, 1976. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

This and the Turnpike Indoor theatres opened on November 20th, 1963. Double grand opening ad below:

You know movie534,all the Union projectionists i worked with at ABC/PLITT and GCC only two guys actually enjoyed movies that ran the Booth,the other guys were always working on something on the make table or reading.I was an Assistant Mgr,and not an operator.

I remember going there in 1978 to see “American Hot Wax” I was a union projectionist and always got in for free cause I knew the guys who worked there. Loved it as a single screen, hated it as a twin.

Grew up in Madison Park across Route 9 saw many movies there, Jeremiah Johnson in early 70s my sister and I were only ones at a 4:00 weekday show.
Remember a big lobby with lots of paintings.
