Unless there was another Poinsett Drive-In, this drive-in was located in Payneway, Arkansas.
It was listed in Marked Tree in the 1963 IMPA. I don’t have any other information on the city.
This site lists it in Payneway, AR. I can’t find any Poinsett Drive-In for Marked Tree, AR.
The IMPA might be impotent. “In August, Bob Bradley and Paul Schaffer, owners of the Poinsett Drive-In Theatre at Harrisburg Corner (what we know as Payneway, today) made an announcement. They had purchased the Trumann Drive-In Theatre in Trumann”. Source.
It could be a mistake. The almanacs are not 100% accurate.
