Casino Theater

This theater was located on the corner of Genesee and Kiefer Streets. Opening around 1910, it was one of the first permanent neighborhood theaters. The Casino was a one-story brick building.

The theater was closed from 1928 to 1932, reopening as a second- or third-run independent house. It showed the usual
double features with gift and game nights. It closed around 1952.

I seem to recall that the building next to the Casino was a candy store 1in the 1950s.
