Located in New Grimsby on the island of Tresco, one of the Isles of Scilly, off the coast of Cornwall.
The New Inn Cinema is listed in the Kinematograph Yearbook, 1954 edition as operating one show weekly, with 16mm equipment. The population of Tresco at that time was 190 (today it’s 180). The New Inn is still open as a hotel, but cinema use has now ended.
