Initially called Barban’s Theatre, it became the Coronet and finally the Grant. Although I believe the theater faced on Grant Avenue in the Millvale section of Pittsburgh, it may have faced on North Avenue in the years when known as the Grant.

By the early 1980’s the building housed a kitchen discount store.

Listed as the Grant at 132 North Avenue in the 1955 yellow pages. Phone number was TAylr 1-3479.
