I have to make a correction to the description above. Lewes Cinema is open year round. First run, arthouse and foreign films are shown there. Lewes Film Club operates from September to May.

This art house cinema is under threat of closure , the local council want to take charge which means the cinema operators will have to find a new venue before the summer 2012.
