The Lakeside Twin Theatre was built just across Harlan Street from the town of Lakeside around 1972. It was a twin auditorium theater building which continued operating until around the 1980s. In the early 1990s the central wall was taken out and building remodeled to become the Queen of Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church.
