The Strand Theatre opened in 1940. There is currently a Strand Theatre operating in Beaverton, Ontario, but pictures of the current building do not resemble those taken of the building taken in 1944.

For comparison, this is a photo of the “other” Strand Theater in Beaverton. That Strand is located at 303 Mara Road.
