What year did Lucy appear at this theater?

Lucille Ball appeared live on the stage of the Liberty Theatre in “Wet and Dry” and entertained further singing between acts.

The building is in very good condition and maintained.

It is still a church and appears to be in fairly good shape. Very little alteration has been made to the auditorium.

Twin City owner in the late 1930s was Arthur St. John. He made the news in January 1938 when a hearse crashed into his new car, seriously injuring him and killing his wife. St. John was also president of a local radio station that broadcast in Centralia and Chehalis.

This theatre was operated by Twin City Theaters, which operated in Centralia & Chehalis. The Pipe organ was damaged in 1926 when a fire gutted half the building.
