Closed December 10th, 1960 as Cinema. It reopened as Lyric again on November 6th, 1964 and closed on March 23rd, 1969. Reopened again as Eve on September 7th, 1972 and closed in 1978. More to come. Grand opening ads posted.

Reopened on Christmas Day, 1947 as Cinema International. Grand opening ad posted. Listed as Cinema from 1949. More to come…

This theatre was under the direction of Famous Players Canadian Corporation.

Here is a picture from 1961 according to the caption from the City of Vancouver archives. If you click upon it to enlarge it, a two-man play featuring Hal Holbrook and George Voskovec called “Do You Know the Milky Way?” is the current attraction.
