The Gala Opening Premiere of “Thoroughly Modern Mille” was held at the debut of the Odeon St. Martin’s Lane on 19th October 1967. Attended by Mary Tyler Moore who ‘launched’ the cinema open with a bottle of Champagne, James Fox, Juliet Prowse, Beatrice Lillie, Gayle Hunnicut, David Hemmings, Roger Moore, Dame Edith Evans, Lionel Bart, Cecil Beaton and Ross Hunter.
