The Balor Theatre opened as the Ritz Cinema in the early 1950’s. It was home to the Balor Arts Centre until June of 2008 when the Balor Arts Centre moved to a new building.

This is the Balor Arts Centre website. It mentions that classic films were shown at this theater in June just before closing. This link also mentions the Balor/Ritz.
