The Cedar was part of the Lam Amusement Company in the early 1960s. The president of the circuit was O.C. Lam, and the company was headquartered in the De Soto Theater building in Rome, GA.

This site claims the following:
“The Cedar Theatre was opened on Friday, October 6, 1933 by LAM Amusement Company. On opening night, ????Too Much Harmony???? was shown. The theatre had Western Electric sound equipment. This theatre was formerly the Palace Theatre.”
