Moon-Glo Drive-In

The Moon-Glo Motor Movie was opened on July 28, 1950 with Gregory Peck in “The Gunfighter” & Brenda Joyce in “Shaggy”. It accommodated 500 cars. By 1955 it was a Redwood-Robert Lippert theatre and the car capacity had been increased to 800. Later operated by Mann Theatre and was taken over by Pacific Theatres in 1978. It was twinned in the mid-1970’s and closed in 1980. The drive-in was then razed for an apartment complex.
