A shot of the boarded-up Coronet Theatre on Yates Street in downtown Victoria, taken in April 1992. Plans to turn the former cinema building into a live theatre called the Atlas Centre for the Performing Arts (a reversion to the theatre’s original name) fell through around the time this photo was taken, but plans were already being made to turn the building into an office complex (originally to be called the Coronet Professional Building, but which eventually became Yates Centre).
