This theater opened as a four-plex during the summer of 1985. I worked at this theater during the timeframes of 1988-90 and 1993-95.

“The Rocketeer” was presented at the Barstow Station in 35mm Dolby Stereo beginning on Friday June 21, 1991.
“The Rocketeer” would’ve played here in mono. The theater was not Dolby-equipped at the time.
The Barstow Station Cinema opened with four screens on August 2, 1985. The debut bookings were “Back to the Future,” “Mad Mad Beyond Thunderdome,” “Pale Rider” and “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.”
Official grand opening: August 8th, 1985 with unofficial opening on the 2nd.
