The Kings Drive-In was located on King Road in Burlington and opened back in 1945. The drive-in had room for 350 cars.

The Kings Drive-In closed in 1959 and was demolished In 1960 to make room for a picnic park and a airport for model airplanes.

Hmm… As I know that the Skyway Drive-in in Stoney Creek was Canda’s first, and it was built in ‘46, the opening year for this one is off. I’m searching, I’m searching…

Again…I doubt if this drive-in theater existed. The Hamilton newspaper(s) listed or advertised theaters in the surrounding cities, like Burlington (Roxy/Odeon), Stoney Creek (Fox, Skyway D-In, Starlite D-In), Waterdown (Clappison D-In) and Dundas (Roxy) during the 1940’s and 1950’s. I have never seen an ad for this drive-in, nor have I ever heard of it before…and I know everything…
