This website has an ad for the Carolina Theater. It also claims, “In McColl, we found a theater called the Geddie-Cole Center located at 103 N. Main Street. Inside, we could see a ticket booth with a small sign underneath that read "Carolina Theatre.”
Thanks Lost Memory, that site is where I found this theater. I was hoping there would be a photo of it, but there wasn’t.
Your welcome Bryan. The Geddie-Cole Center appears to be a charitable organization. Maybe the function could be office space. That site also mentions a McColl Theatre which I don’t see listed here.
The 1935 Film Daily lists a 250 seat McCall Theater in McCall South Carolina. That’s probably a spelling error and is most likely the McColl Theater in McColl, SC. In 1945 the 250 seat McColl Theater is still listed. No address is given.
