There was an Embassy Theatre in Hickory NC.
This theater was demolished. “Included in this four-acre parcel was the former Embassy Theatre
building. Once a social magnet in Henderson, the Embassy Theatre was under condemnation with
no hopes of restoration. The abandoned theatre and its adjoining buildings were torn down to
make way for the city project, which became known as the Embassy Square Project.” Source
