The Red Star Theatre, which opened in 1913 and closed two years later, is listed in a 1913 Chicago Tribune ad as showing "Mutual Movies", was located on S. Wentworth Avenue at W. 57th Street in the Washington Park neighborhood. The location of this long-ago demolished movie house is now part of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
