Located in the Matthews Festival Shopping Center at the intersection of U.S. 74 and Highway 51.
The Matthews Festival Cinemas 10 opened in 1987. It was owned and operated by Cineplex Odeon, who at one time operated the Park Terrace Theatres. This theater had a successful run for several years but it has been converted into a gym in the last few years.

Closed in either 1994 or 1995,when it was owned and operated under Cineplex Odeon.
Carmike Cinemas took over this theatre in 1990 when they bought most of Cineplex Odeon’s North Carolina theatres. They were the last chain to operate this theatre.
