Fischer’s Paramount Theatre was located on the ground floor of the 1911 Holabird & Roche designed-North American Building, at the corner of State and Monroe Streets in the Loop. It was only very briefly in operation, from 1923 to 1929. Retail stores now occupy the former theater space.

The Fischer Theatres chain was also headquarted in the North American Building in the 1920s in addition to their movie theater there. The chain apparently also operated theaters in Wisconsin.
