Ritz Multiplex

Originally on this site stood the Ritz Cinema. By the summer of 1997, it had been converted into a twin screen cinema and there were proposals to add two more screens. However, it was demolished in May 1999.

The new 5-screen Ritz Multiplex was built in its place and opened on 27th December 1999. Seating capacities in the screens are: 355, 200, 95, 100 and 80. Also in the building is a restaurant, a snooker hall and an amusement arcade.
