Listed in 1940 with 150 seats. In 1945 the Majestic Theater had 250 seats.
In the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook, only the Lamb Theatre is listed for Amherst, Texas. It doesn’t give a seat count or street address, which may mean it was a newly-opened theater at that time. I wonder if the Lamb was a brand-new theater, or a new name for the Majestic?
