Either it’s an oversight by the editors, or this theater didn’t last very long at all: the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook doesn’t list any theaters being in operation for Churdan, Iowa. The 1945 edition of the FDY only shows a Churdan Theatre, seating 252, as being closed at that time.

The Churdan Theatre is also listed in the 1941 & 1943 editions of F.D.Y., but it is ‘Open’.
