Approx. location for this drive-in was around 1000 Fountain Street, Ashland, PA 17921. Part of the outline is still there.

The Hi-Way Drive-In is listed in the 1980 IMPA with a capacity for 500 cars. Operator at that time was M. Heinback.

I remember being in the backseat of my parents car when they went to see The Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre here in late 60s…They probably thought I was sleeping but I was awake to see the (for its time) gruesome machine gunning scene. It gave me nightmares (and obviously memories) for a long time.
