In the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook, the Horosko Theatre is the only theater listed for Deepwater (spelled Deep Water in the FDY) with seating for 300 and shown as “closed”. In the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook, the Alcox Theatre seating 247 is the only theater listed for Deepwater. I am guessing that this is the Silva Theatre renamed after its new owner, A.M. Cox? I wonder if the Silva is listed in Film Daily Yearbooks between 1945 and 1951?

Boxoffice magazine reported in January 1946 that A.M. Cox had purchased the Silva from E.B. Kaiser. No other information was provided.

The 1946 FDYB lists the 300-seat Horosko Theatre as closed. The 1947 FDYB lists only a Silver Theatre, with 200 seats. Silva or Silver? Who knows which is correct? Almost certainly it was the same theatre as the Horosko.
