Shirley Theater

Thanks. I bought my Dad a book called “The Balcony Is Closed”. It’s a history of neighborhood movie theaters in Northern Kentucky written by Robert D. Webster and published by the Kenton County Historical Society. I peeked at the book when it came, then went out with my GPS this past Sunday for a mini-tour. Several of the theatres I’d passed many times over the years without even suspecting what was in their past.

The current name given for the church located at this address is Covington Baptist Temple.
