I don’t have opening date for the Speyside Cinema, but it could have been in the 1970’s. Seating was provided for 700, all on one level.

I late-1995, plans were proposed to twin the cinema, but this did not happen. The Speyside Cinema was closed in 2000, and remained that way until it was re-opened on 29th April 2005 with "Finding Neverland".

The Speyside Cinema has now been incororated into the Macdonald Leisure Resort, and currently has seating for 600.
