The All Star Factory is a twin-screen purpose built cinema that opened in October 2002. Seating capacities in the screens are for 152 and 88. It is the most Northerly cinema on the UK mainland.

Also within the building is a bowling alley, a bar/nightclub, restaurant and games room. The All Star Factory cinema was closed on 26th September 2009, but in late-2010, there were hopes of getting it re-opened.

I’ve never been this far north, but having surfed the net I’ve discovered it’s now open again with a new name, The Thurso Cinema.
