The first movie house recorded in Honey Grove’s history was the Nickelodeon Theater and was owned by Bob Bryan. It was located on the west side of the town square and later the building became home to Royal Cleaners. As slides were shown on the screen Harry Thompson and Grady Ragsdell would sing as Bee Tidwell played the piano.
