Opened in the mid-to-late 1940’s, the Ecco Theatre was located on Main Street in the downtown area of Sumrall, Mississippi. It was the only theatre in the small town and seated 293. It was still open and operating in 1959 when it was showing "Gods Little Acre". It closed some time in the early 1960’s and was demolished. Its site is still an empty lot today.
