The Grand Opera House was built in 1905. Around 1930 the Grand Opera House was converted into a motion picture theater and the name was changed to the Grand Theater. The Grand Theater remained in operation beyond 1950.

In 1956 it was a SETTOS THEATRE owned by George Settos.He had screens in Indiana,Ohio and Kentucky.
