This drive-in opened in 1963 as the Amity Drive-In. Renamed the Chapparal Drive-In in 1970. It was owned for a while by Wilford Steiman. Could not find the car count.

Listed as the Amity Drive-In in the 1975 IMPA with a capacity for 300 cars.
