The Farnham Maltings dates from 1729, and was converted into a multi purpose Arts Centre in 1970.

The Great Hall is used for film, where the 256 retractable seats are used and a roll-down screen is located in front of the stage area. For live shows, when the screen is rolled up, an additional 200 seats are possible on the flat floor in front of the 12mtr by 5mtr stage.

The architecture is left much as built, with windows covered during performances.
