I managed this theater from 1981 until about 1985. Back then it was the Mann Paramount Theatre. We ran major release movies and had Saturday morning kids shows. Saturday midnight showing was Rocky Horror Picture Show. Spent many hours fixing up the stage lighting and back drops. Eventually held a few concerts and talent shows for the kids. Most memorable was the “Annie” look-a-like talent contest. It was a great old theater. I’m glad to see that it’s been restored to it’s former glory.

A Robert-Morton theater organ size 2/6 was installed in the Colonial Theater in 1921. A Kilgen theater organ opus 4550 size 2/3 style U06 was installed in the Paramount Theater in 1930.
