Not a lot is known about this early cinema. It opened around 1914 and was operated by Electric Theatres (1908) Ltd. It was located on the corner of Bamford Road and Wakering Road.

By 1922, it had a new owner, Arthur Blake, but was closed by 1925. The building then became a workshop, then a second-hand furniture store. It’s last use was as a sausage factory, before it was purchased by the local Council and demolished.

Almshouses were built on the site, but these were demolished (possibly in the 1960’s) to build the new Barking inner ring road.
