This three screen theatre opened in 1984 by Fridley theatres. I could not find if Fridley operated the Algona Theatre at 216 E. State St and this replaced it. This three screen Algona shows first run attractions and has a video store also. I read where it has annual sales in excess of $190,000 so that is pretty good for a smaller market. With an admission price of 5.00 matiness and 7.00 evenings.

This was the Algona in 1984.
This theatre should be eliminated from the listings. It is mixed up with the Algona at 216 E. State St. and the State 3 at 315 E. State St. It is a duplicate theatre.
