Located on the corner of Picardy Street and Sheridan Road, Belvedere, near Erith, Kent, which today is part of the Greater London area. The Grand Electric Theatre opened in June 1913 with 275 seats. Later re-named the Cosy Cinema, it was equipped for sound films and became the Cosy Talkie Theatre.

In 1937 it is listed as the Belvedere Cinema, with 400 seats. Always independently operated it seems to have closed by 1939, possibly due to the outbreak of World War II.

It became the KitKat Ballroom, and was later demolished. A block of flats was built on the site.
