Located in the Starch Green area of Shepherd’s Bush and almost opposite the Half Moon & Seven Stars Public House. The Park Cinema opened in June 12 with 525 seats. By 1918, the seating capacity had been increased to 620. The Park Cinema was closed by 1927.
It was re-opened and re-named New Park Cinema from 24th October 1930, after sound equipment had been installed. It was closed in around 1940, possibly due to World War II conditions.
Since demolished, a branch of Allied Carpets now sits on the site.
