Uptown Theater, Mt. Carmel, IL

The Uptown Theatre opened in 1938 on Market Street near Third Street. The theater was remodeled in 1953, by then-operator Keith Coleman, who also operated the American Theatre in Mount Carmel at that time. The theater was closed in 1987 and the building torn down in 2001.

This drive-in was also in Mt. Carmel. I would add it but there seems to be no confirmation that it actually existed other than a sketchy bio on drive-ins.com.
