The Chung Wah Theatre was a small neighbourhood cinema in Shaukiwan on the Hong Kong Island. Chung Wah, meaning China, is the Cantonese pronunciation of its Chinese name, its exact English name is unavailable.

According to the 1930 Hong Kong Government Administration Report, the theatre building was completed in 1930, the theatre probably opened to business in the same year. The name of the theatre was on the film guide published by a Chinese language newspaper in July 1931.

A book on the history of the Eastern District—Shaukiwan is part of the Eastern district)—published by the Eastern District Council in
2003, the theatre closed to business in 1935 with no reference.

As talking movie was still in its incipient period in 1930, whether talking movies were shown at the theatre before it was closed in 1935 was unknown.
