The Grand Theatre was operating prior to 1941 and was still open in 1950.

Any further info on the Grand Theatre would be greatly appreciated.

The December 22, 1928, issue of Motion Picture News said that Don Tracy planned to open his new Grand Theatre at Carrington, North Dakota, on December 31.

The Carrington Youth Center doesn’t have its own web site, but show times and the name of the current movie are posted on this page of the City of Carrington’s web site.

From the 1940s postcard view above, the Carrington Youth Center doesn’t look anything like the former Grand Theater building. In fact, the configuration of the block in the postcard doesn’t match the current Google street view of the block the youth center is on.

btkrefft is right. The Youth Center is in a corner building, and the theater was in mid-block. As the address is right for the Youth Center, it must be wrong for the Grand Theatre.
