The Grand Theatre operated from 1920. In 1951, it was operated by Hoyts Theatres Ltd. Closed in 1964, it was later used as a social club, and remains in that use in 2011.

I drove past this cinema not long ago and it is still there as a club of some sort, i looks as though the front has been covered over in the 1950’s or 60’s. So possibly the exterior is still in tact underneath. Good work digging that photo out lost memory – was great to see it.
