The Cinema was small local cinema that that was operating prior to 1937. It had a 28 feet wide proscenium, a 15 feet deep stage and three dressing rooms. Films and variety were listed as the programming at the Cinema in 1947.
By 1954 it had been re-named Tudor Cinema. It was still operating in 1966, but closed soon after. It re-opened in 1974, screening 16mm films during the summer season, but this didn’t last long.
It was later purchased by a light engineering company who completely removed most of the inside features of the building. In 1976, it was converted in the Hats Theatre, for use by the Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society.
