The Apollo Theatre opened in 1938 and closed in 1974. The Apollo Theatre was always listed as being in Glenferrie, Melbourne but Google maps this address to it neighbour, the district of Hawthorn.
After closing, the Apollo Theatre was converted into a catering hall, known as the Mansara Hall. By 2005, it had been sub divided into a billiards hall and an indoor play centre named Billy Lids.
