This theatre opened in May of 1972 as the State Theatres with two screens. It was operated by ABC Theatres and later by Syufy who converted it to a 6 plex. It was last operated by Wallace Theatres until it closed under the name of Florin Family Savings Cinema.
The building is now used as a church.

Wow! I remember this old theater when I was growing up. The movies I saw here we’re Jurassic Park, Surf Ninjas, and Captain Ron. It was located in a neighborhood that doesn’t have the best reputation and around 1993 or 94 somebody got shot in one of the theaters. It was closed shortly after and turned into a church.
